You are all are informed that the pattern as well as Schedule has been Revised by  SSC for  some of the examinations in 2012 and most importantly for  the SSC CGL Exam 2013

However to the much relief of Candidates, there is No change in the Pattern and Syllabus of SSC  CGL Exams in 2013.

SSC CGL Exam 2013:


SSC is going to conduct the Combined Graduate Level Examination,2013 for recruitment to different posts in Govt. Departments. Those talented as well as Interested candidates who are willing to work in this Govt. Sector and preparing for Competitive Exams and work hard, have touched with current affairs need to apply through Online by filling online Application form before 15th February, 2013. (13th February 2013 For Part -1 Registration)

Eligibility:

Eligibility criteria for SSC CGL 2013:
Educational Qualification:   :  Applying candidates must have Bachelor Degree or equivalent  from any recognized University as on 1st January, 2013.
Age limit: The age limit for Eligible candidates is bounded between 18years - 27 years as on 1st January, 2013. (Relaxation will be provided to reserved category candidates as per govt. norms)

NOTE THAT: The last date of online registration for PART-1 is 13th February, 2013 and PART-2 registration is 15th February, 2013, indirectly the last date is 13th February.  Keep it in mind.

Application Fee: Applying candidates need to pay Rs. 100/- Women candidates and candidates belonging to reserved categories are exempted from paying application fee as per extant Government orders.

Selection Process:

After the Written Examination and the Interview /Skill Test/Computer Proficiency Test/Document verification wherever applicable and the descriptive/on-line test, the Commission will draw up the All India Merit List for each category of post/State for those candidates who have qualified in the descriptive /on-line test and as many candidates as are found by the Commission to have qualified in the Examination shall be recommended for appointment for each category of post/State upto the number of unreserved vacancies available, taking into consideration option for the posts.



New Exam Pattern:

There are different Tiers existing in the Scheme of Examination for SSC  Combined Graduate Level Exam 2013:
  1. Tier -I: Written Examination (Objective Multiple Choice Type)
  2. Tier -II: Written Examination (Objective Multiple Choice Type)
  3. Tier -III: Personality Test/Interview/Skill Test/Computer Proficiency Test (Wherever Applicable )
Scheme of Examination:
SSC CGL Exam 2013
  • There is Negative Marking 1/4 marks for each wrong answer in Tier-I and in Tier -II 1/2 for Paper-I and 1/4 for Paper-II and Paper-III.

SSC Recommendations:

SSC is likely to introduce the Online Examination Pattern in some regions, as a start.
  • There is another likelihood that a short Descriptive Paper will be introduced in the Tier-II of SSC CGL Exam 2013. The Descriptive Paper will be of 1 Hour Duration and have Questions based on “English Language and Comprehension”, “Quantitative Abilities” and “General Awareness”
  • SSC is also of the view and plans to introduce another Qualifying Paper before the Final Stage Examination, i.e before the Interviews/Computer Skill Test/Data Entry Skill. This is being done to reduce the Lengthy Recruitment Process, as it become difficulty and takes more time (Like 7 to 8 Weeks) to Screen 25000 to 35000 candidates in the Final Stage.
 However, these are only Recommendation and their Implementation will depend upon on the Commissions Final Decisions.
