CBSE XII Board Exams to include "Value Based Questions" in 2013 |

 If you are currently student and if during your Class XI final and XII board exams you find a question which does not strictly adhere to the subject, don't be surprised
Because The Central Board of Secondary Education(CBSE)  has decided to introduce 'value-based questions' of 3 to5  marks in all the major subjects. Value-based questions will be  of 3-5 marks will be introduced in 15 subjects.
According to CBSE Sources,  the Board has decided to integrate values with the content of all major subjects in Classes XI and XII.  The Board will also assign additional 5% weightage to major subjects (Hindi, English, biology, chemistry, mathematics, accountancy, economicbusiness studies,  geography, history and entrepreneurship) in Classes XI and XII by asking questions which will be clubbed with the content of subject and evaluated on the basis of values it exhibits.
The questions will be for 5 marks in a paper of 100 marks and three to four marks in a question paper of 70-90 marks, which will "come into effect from next year.
The notification announcing the implementation of value-based questions, states that the current educational ecosystem should be made stronger to impart values protected in the Indian Constitution.
